Scholarships and Tuition Assistance

Holy Cross Preparatory Academy is pleased to offer both needs-based and merit-based grants to incoming students.  Holy Cross utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to analyze financial need. Students wishing to receive either needs-based aid or one of our scholarships must create a FACTS account and submit an application for financial aid.

Holy Cross Preparatory Academy awards three (3) academic merit scholarships to incoming freshmen based upon their achievement on the HSPT exam.  Each scholarship winner will earn a $5,000 grant towards yearly tuition costs at Holy Cross.  Those students who qualify will be notified of their award in their acceptance packet, which will be mailed out mid-December.

The Holy Cross Preparatory Academy alumni support a number of scholarships for incoming freshmen.  These scholarships are funded by former Lancers, and may include separate qualifying criteria such as essay submissions and/or community service hours.  Only after students have applied and been accepted can they be considered for an Alumni scholarship.  Information about how to apply for these scholarships will be included in the acceptance packets that students receive.

Through our Partners in Faith Scholarship (above), all students coming from Catholic elementary schools will receive an automatic reduction in tuition of $1,000 when they enroll at HCPA!  We are proud to support Catholic education, and want to say Thank You to those students wishing to continue their academic careers at a Catholic secondary school.

The Knights of Columbus Saint Kateri Council #12229 is sponsoring a $300 High School scholarship to an 8th grade boy or girl planning on attending a Catholic High School.  Applicants must attend a grammar school in New Jersey to be eligible.  The contest involves a short essay, list of activities in and out of school, and a teacher recommendation.  Please email AJSing1@verizon.net for more information about applying.
