Transition Team

Our Transition Team is compiled of alumni and parents with extensive backgrounds and abilities who are dedicated to the success of Holy Cross for the next 60 years.  These individuals, along with the Founding Board and Academic Committee, are serving our school in the areas of Academics, Admissions, Finance and Fundraising, Governance, Legal, Marketing and Advertising, Operations, Facilities, and Student/Athletic Life.

Christine Donnelly – Holy Cross Class of 1985

Education:

  • Cabrini College- BS Business Administration and Marketing May 1989-Graduated Magna Cum Laude

Experience:

  • Christine has spent her career at the National Constitution Center and has over 25 years of non-profit experience. Currently she is the Vice President of Finance and Administration.  She oversees all aspects of finances, building and exhibit operations, and events. She also works closely with the fundraising arm of the Center.

Tim Durkin

Education:

Experience:

  • Tim is currently the Director, Community and Alumni Relations, where he works with the Alumni Association, oversees the operations of the building and grounds, and currently manages third party contracts. He was previously employed by EHS Technologies Corporation where he was the Proposals manager overseeing $150M worth of contract awards.

Pauline Connolly Gebhardt – Holy Cross Class of 1986

Education:

Experience:

  • Pauline currently practices law in Marlton, NJ with Finney Law where she concentrates her practice in estate planning, estate administration, tax, general business and real estate law. Pauline was previously an associate at the Law Offices of Thomas F. Marshall and a Law Clerk for Senior Judge George T. Kelton of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. Pauline has over twenty years of private practice experience.

Christopher Sabatino, Sr.

Education:

  • Drexel University – BS Construction Management 2010

Experience:

  • Chris is currently the Senior Director of Construction for Camden County College in Blackwood NJ. He was specifically hired to act on the college’s behalf to manage the completion of an $80,000,000 bond funded construction project.  He is involved in the planning and scope of work from inception and manages the process during the design and construction phases.
  • He has an additional 25 years of experience with a leading Philadelphia structural engineering firm where he held positions as a draftsman, construction inspector, assistant project and project manager.

Community Involvement:

  • He has served on St. Charles Borromeo’s School Board in a Building and Grounds capacity
  • Teaches at Camden County College
  • Arranged for donation of the Holy Cross biology lab and installed it
  • Renovated Trainers Room and Classroom of the Future at Holy Cross

Scott Shontz – Holy Cross Class of 1983

Education:

  • University of Scranton – BS Accounting
  • St Joseph’s University – MBA Finance

Experience:

  • Scott is currently the National Director of Dining & Clinical Services at Healthcare Services Group (HSG). Prior to HSG, Scott worked for Aramark Corporation, another top manages services organization, for 22 years.  He is a seasoned senior executive, well-versed in finance, business operations, new business development and human resource management.

Cliff Stokes

Education:

  • BS Mechanical Engineering, Drexel University

Experience:

  • Cliff is Chief Operating Officer and Owner of Ehmke Manufacturing Company which is a textile products manufacturer located in Philadelphia.  For 31 years, he has handled every aspect of a small business.  His expertise lies in the design of complex textile products for such customers as Boeing and the U.S. Military.  Some of his original products has been patented.  He excels in streamlining processes, managing operations, and developing efficient operating procedures.  He achieved the Master Fabrics Craftsman, which is the highest industry certification for textile products.

  • Volunteer Assistant Coach for Cinnaminson Baseball

Judy Stokes, CPA

Education:

  • BS Accounting – Rowan University

Experience:

  • Judy was a Manager in the Corporate Accounting Department of Verizon for 6 years. Prior to joining Verizon, she was a Senior Auditor for Ernst and Young LLP

Edward Sullivan – Holy Cross Class of 1964

  • Private Practice of Law from 1975 to 2007 in the fields of banking, real estate lending and health care with Law Firm of Toll, Sullivan & Luthman, acting as senior, managing Partner from 1984 to 2007. The law firm merged with Parker,McCay of Marlton in 2007
  • Became employed as Senior Vice-President/ General Counsel for Kennedy Health System in 2009, continuing 43 years of service as General Counsel to Kennedy Health

Matt Tierney – Holy Cross Class of 1996

Education:

  • Widener University – Bachelors of Science in Accounting

Experience:

  • Grant Thornton – Partner, Global Insurance Practice Leader
  • Matt is a partner with Grant Thornton which is the fifth largest professional services firms in the world. At Grant, Matt leads the Global Insurance Practice which is one of the leading Industry segments of the firm. The global practice covers 141 different countries and serves clients from the Fortune 100 through multi-country carriers.
  • Matt also serves on the Global Business Consulting Leadership team which focuses on emerging technologies that are changing our clients operating models.
  • Over Matt’s career he has worked extensively in the US, Europe and Bermuda working with global carriers on significant projects related to their Target Operating Model.

Board Experience:

  • SIFM Board Member – The Society of Insurance Financial Management (SIFM) which consists of global CFO’s and professional service Partners. Matt has served on the board for five years.

Community Involvement:

  • Marlton Football Board Member – Matt has been a coach and board member for the Marlton Chiefs since 2009

Scott Zimmerman – Holy Cross Class of 1999

Education:

  • The College of New Jersey – BS Business Administration – 2004

Experience:

  • Scott leads the business development efforts at Artcraft Promotional Concepts in Moorestown, NJ.  He provides promotional branding to key national and regional accounts, including banks, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies

Community Involvement:

  • Board Member of TCNJ School of Business Alumni Chapter from 2010- 2015

Personal:

  • Scott enjoys time with family and outdoor hobbies including hunting, fishing and hiking
  • Scott was a Varsity Athlete in Wresting at Holy Cross and TCNJ
